Agenda:
- Warm-up: Read and discuss this viral article
- What do you think of Amaral’s argument? Is it a valid request?
- Think about your own life for a moment. How would you describe your life chances? How has your access to life chances made it easier or harder for you to achieve your goals?  What are your privileges?
- How could we change society so that life chances are more evenly distributed throughout the social hierarchy?
- Growing up were you told that, “you can become anything you dream,” or something like that? What did you think of that message at the time and what do you think of it now?
