Students will discuss the limits of satire.

Agenda:
Seminar Prep: Should there be limits on what a satirist says or publishes?
- The goal of seminar is to have an effective conversation.
- Therefore, Q&As are encouraged between authors and the audience
- Table 1: Assume the identity of Fleming Rose
- Table 2: Assume the identity of Anthony Faiola
- Table 3: Assume the identity of Robert Harris
- Table 4: Assume the identity of Norman Finkelstein
- Table 5: Assume the identity of Caitlin Dewey
- Table 6: Assume the identity of Stephen Marche

HW:
- Prep for tomorrow's seminar (create and share one document as an expert group):
1) What does your author believe about satire and its limits?
2) How would your author respond to all of the other authors' views?
3) Are there questions you might ask of your author?
4) Are there questions you might ask of the other authors?
5) Compile useful quotations from your piece and others' pieces.

Reminders:
- Register for the AP Test by March 10
- Pay for the AP Test
- What happens if you do not want to take the AP test?
