Agenda:
- Watch this video.
- Warm-up: Answer one of the following questions with at least three complete sentences.

1) Currently, there is a shortage of skilled laborers in America.  Do you agree with Mike Rowe's argument?  Do we need a national PR campaign for skilled labor?
2) Do you know anyone who is a skilled laborer?  Did s/he receive formal training?  How did s/he learn those skills?
3) Rowe claims there is a widening skills gap.  How would you propose that gap be mitigated?  
4) Why is there a negative connotation associated with skilled labor?  Why is there a positive connotation associated with traditional school-based occupations?
