Students will be able to appropriate sophisticated phrasing for serious and satirical purposes.

Agenda:
Read and discuss Vince Lombardi speech
Use  Vices & Follies as satire subjects
Explain the difference between satire and parody

HW:
Finish and print out the Lombardi imitation speech for tomorrow.
The deadline is, Wednesday, January 28.

Reminders:
The Ladder of Comedy assignment is due this Thursday, 1/29.  The deadline is Friday, 1/30.
