9/25-9/26: Lit as Film

Students will state their opinions of the film by discussing film elements.

Agenda:
- Were you absent? Read through the screenplay to see what you missed
- In-class discussion Tuesday:

1. Who is the protagonist of the film: Ellis or Mud? Why?
2. There are several helpers in the movie. Who is most helpful? Why?
3. Who is the most compassionate character throughout the piece? Why?
4. Who was the most interesting minor character? Why?
5. What was the best aspect of the film overall? Why?
6. What was the least successful portion of the movie? Why?
7. What does each character think about love and marriage?
Which one aligns with your views on love and marriage? Why?
+ Any other noteworthy elements are free game.

HW:
- Work on and turn in discussion notes on Google Classroom
