Students will recognize the conventions of a synthesis packet and essay.

Agenda:

- Sit with your group for today and tomorrow; Monday shall be "normal"
- Group Check-in

- Watch Ms. Boettcher's screen cast on how to write a synthesis essay
- Read TV & Elections synthesis packet
- Prepare for tomorrow's discussion/debate (you'll be the sources)

Upcoming:
- Individual summative synthesis essay next week on your synthesis packet

HW:
- Prepare for tomorrow's discussion/debate role play
- Vocab.com PBS Documentary Lists due 10/31
- Improve group synthesis packets as necessary (should be perfect!)
