Students will prepare concessions and refutations by debating whether Christopher Columbus was a harbinger of genocide OR a visionary explorer.

Agenda:
- 5-minute warm-up to prepare witness testimonies within groups
- Opening Statements
- If time allows, counter argument questioning and rebuttals
- Turn in Trial Notes Capture Sheet (one per student)
